Ketorolac Tromethamine

Composition : Medilac Tablet: Each tablet contains Ketorolac Tromethamine USP 10 mg.

Description: Medilac (Ketorolac Tromethamine)  is  a potent Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAIDs) that is indicated for a management of moderate to severe acute pain that requires analgesia at the opioid level.

Pharmacology: Medilac(Ketorolac Tromethamine) is a NSAIDs that exhibits analgesic activity. Ketorolac      Tromethamine inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins and may be considered a peripherally acting analgesic. Ketorolac Tromethamine possesses no sedative or anxiolytic properties.

Indication: Medilac is indicated for short term management of moderate  to severe acute  pain. Major indications are:

Post-operative pain associated with abdominal,                  

    gynecological, oral, orthopedic or urological surgery

    Acute renal colic

    Pain associated with trauma

    Musculoskeletal Pain

    Visceral pain associated with cancer
