Calcium Carbonate USP + Vitamin D3 USP

Composition :

Medcal-D Tablet : Each film coated tablet contains Calcium Carbonate USP 1250 mg equivalent to elemental Calcium 500 mg and Vitamin D3 USP 200 IU as Cholecalciferol.

Description :

Calcium is an essential element and plays vital role in the body. It helps body’s framework stronger by building bones. Vitamin D is needed for Calcium to be absorbed from the gut and deficiency can lead to low Calcium levels and subsequent weakening of bones.

Indications :

Medcal-D is indicated for the correction of Calcium and Vitamin D deficiency in the elderly and as an adjunct to specific treatment for osteoporosis in patients where combined vitamin D and calcium deficiencies have been diagnosed or at a high risk of such deficiencies.

Dosage & Administration :

Adults and elderly: One tablet twice a day preferably one tablet each morning and one at evening with a full glass of water.

Dosage in pregnant women: One tablet a day or as directed by the physician.
